But there’s more we can do. MFLA’s Disaster Relief program sets aside financial resources L.A. can use in the event of a catastrophic event.
In disaster’s wake, bureaucratic delays can prevent affected residents from receiving vital supplies. The Disaster Relief program would expedite that process as well as provide for relief personnel costs. The Fund would also run an active fundraising page to coordinate donations and make sure support goes to the right people and organizations.
