The clinic is the first of three planned, aimed to assist individuals at risk of eviction before the looming February 1 deadline for settling back rent from October 1, 2021, to January 31, 2023. The second clinic is scheduled for Saturday, January 27th.

The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles has adopted reforms to its policy for accepting contributions that mirror city candidate campaign contribution rules. Going forward, the fund will no longer accept donations from individuals registered to lobby the city, as well as developers focused on doing business with the city.
