The physical, mental, and financial toll of this tragedy cannot be overstated. The last thing anyone should have to worry about is navigating countless agency websites to find their next steps.
The LA Disaster Navigator simplifies the search, helping residents access support conveniently, without delays or confusion. By answering personalized questions, anyone impacted by the wildfires can create a tailored action plan, including access to government programs, insurance assistance, home damage remediation, temporary and permanent housing solutions, cash grants, and valuable local community services.
“Angelenos are continuing to navigate grief and shock. My commitment is to do everything we can to get people the help they need as conveniently as possible,” Mayor Bass said. “The Disaster Recovery Centers have already helped more than 5,000 families get help in person, and now the LA Disaster Relief Navigator will help Angelenos get help wherever they are.”
The LA Disaster Relief Navigator is the result of partnership between the Mayor’s Fund, the Mayor’s Office, Better Angels and Imagine LA. It was made possible through support from the Annenberg Foundation and the R&S Kayne Foundation.
The Mayor’s Fund is committed to ensuring all Angelenos have the resources they need to recover and rebuild, stronger and better than before.
We’ll keep you updated as we continue supporting LA’s recovery. Please share the link with your network to ensure as many people as possible can benefit from this tool. Together, we will get through this.
